Fundrella launches ESG Fund Search Engine 2.0

Fundrella is delighted to announce the launch of a new suite of data available in its’ enhanced fund search engine. By incorporating the ESG data points available through the European ESG template, as a complement to Fundrella’s 50+ proprietary ESG data points, the fund selection and analytics platform now offers professional investors hundreds of ESG data points to find, compare and monitor funds with.  

The European ESG template (EET) is part of the European Union’s new regulatory disclosure requirements for financial instruments. During the past few years asset management companies have had to invest immense time and resources into starting to disclose sustainability data in a new format. The disclosure requirements are a key step towards a more standardized financial industry.

*The European ESG Template is the official ESG data exchange template in response to the EU's Sustainable Finance Disclosure Rregulation. It is developed by FinDatEx in coordination with European financial industry representatives. The EET provides required data for fund ESG characteristics, with reporting levels based on fund definitions (article 6, 8, and 9). It aims to facilitate data exchange between manufacturers and stakeholders (distributors, insurers, fund investors) for ESG regulatory compliance, including SFDR and related acts under MiFID II and IDD.
